Definition :
  • Stairs are a structure designed to bridge a large vertical distance between lower and higher levels by dividing it into smaller vertical distances. Then this is achieved as a diagonal series of horizontal platforms called steps which enable passage to the other level by stepping from one to another step in turn.

  • The formula for the calculation is given below.
  • Total volume of Stair Case (Cu.ft) = Volume of Total Step + Volume of Waist Slab.
  • Total volume of Stair Case (Cu.m) = (Cu.ft) * 0.0283168466.
  • Then, Cement = Cement volume / 0.035.
  • Then, Sand = Sand Volume * 1550 / 1000.
  • Then, Aggregate = Aggregate Volume * 1350 / 1000.
