Close Coupled Centrifugal Pumps with Flanged Motor

When a centrifugal pump and motor are directly connected without the need of a shaft or connection, the result is known as a Close connected Centrifugal Pump with Flange Motor. Usually, a flange connection—a flat, round component that joins the motor directly to the pump housing—is used to install the motor to the pump. Many industrial and commercial applications frequently use this kind of pump design.
